Cocoa Hazelnut Butter Porridge Recipe
Ingredients (Serves 2)
100g porridge oats
500ml milk (or water if you prefer)
2 eggs, beaten
2tbsp Meridian Cocoa Hazelnut Butter
1 orange, zested and separated into segments
2tbsp Greek yogurt
Drizzle of honey
Sprinkling of flaxseeds
- Mix the oats, milk and eggs in a saucepan, place on the hob and bring to a simmer. Cook for six to eight minutes, stirring regularly until the oats are cooked and the porridge is thick.
- Stir in the nut butter and the orange zest. Add a little more milk if the porridge is too thick for your liking.
- Serve the porridge topped with the yogurt, orange segments, honey and flaxseeds.
